Certificate Course in Clinical Endodontics

The Endodontics Unit, Department of Restorative Dentistry, is pleased to launch the inaugural run of the Certificate Course in Clinical Endodontics, with the aim to equip general dental practitioners with knowledge and skills to perform endodontic diagnosis and treatments confidently and predictably.

The course will consist of:

• interactive lectures on endodontic topics as well as problem-based learning sessions on treatment planning and management of various endodontic cases.
• hands-on training sessions on extracted teeth which will highlight skills needed to manage the technicalities of root canal instrumentation and obturation.
• simulated sessions on mannequin heads using microscopes which will provide participants the opportunity to apply endodontic techniques during root canal treatment in a simulated clinical setting.

• Perform comprehensive treatment planning and effective communication with patients
