Sengkang General Hospital (SKH)’s Gratitude Gala, held on 23 March, brought
together 200 esteemed guests, including donors, partners, clinicians, and dedicated healthcare professionals. The inaugural gala was a jubilant celebration marking SKH's remarkable 5th anniversary of serving the healthcare needs of the northeast population.
Professor Kenneth Mak, Director-General of Health at the Ministry of Health, graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour. His presence underscored the collective appreciation for the unwavering support and dedication shown by all those involved in SKH's journey of growth and service.
One of the most heartening aspects of the Gratitude Gala was the opportunity to honour and express heartfelt appreciation to SKH's numerous partners and donors. Their boundless generosity and steadfast support have been instrumental in driving forward SKH's transformative initiatives, making a tangible difference in the lives of countless individuals, especially those within the northeast community.
Central to the evening's celebrations was the silent auction, which not only added an element of excitement but also served as a testament to the extraordinary generosity of the attendees. The funds raised from that evening would go towards the SKH Better Health Fund.
The SKH Better Health Fund will enable clinicians, healthcare professionals, and
administrators at SKH by advancing research and development programmes to accelerate medical discoveries and cures, grooming our future generations of healthcare leaders through training and education, and helping patients, especially those in need, to cope with their recovery.
To each and every individual who contributed their time, resources, and unwavering support, we extend our heartfelt gratitude. Together, we are making a difference and defining tomorrow’s medicine.
