Profile

​Beau Fenner, MD, PhD, is an Associate Consultant at the Singapore National Eye Centre. He completed his bachelor and doctoral studies in molecular biology in Western Australia in 2003 prior to undertaking postdoctoral research in molecular virology at the National University of Singapore and in molecular neuroscience at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. He completed his MD studies at Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School in 2014 and Ophthalmology residency at the Singapore National Eye Centre in 2020. He is currently completing a clinical fellowship in Medical Retina at Singapore National Eye Centre. In addition to his clinical work, he is actively engaged in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, and in both basic and clinical research in the areas of age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and inherited retinal diseases.
