Dr Chaminda Jayampath Seneviratne
Principal Investigator,
Academic Clinical Programme Office,
National Dental Centre Singapore

Dr Chaminda Jayampath's major research interests include oral microbiome in oral-systemic link, oral biofilm infections and salivary biomarkers. His research group employs OMICS biology techniques (microbiomics, proteomics and metabolomics) to unravel the molecular mechanisms underpinning the oral-systemic infections. He has developed various in vitro, ex vivo and in vivo biofilm models and small-molecule-based drug discovery platforms. Dr.Seneviratne’s research projects have been funded by NMRC-CS-IRG as well as industrial agents. He is a recipient of prestigious Awards from the International Association for Dental Research (IADR).
