Rebecca at the reception counter on Level 1, NDCSThis has been an exciting time – I have been running on adrenaline and have had trouble sleeping at night! I have to attend to walk-in UCC patients quickly so that a queue doesn’t form at the reception counter. Although my job has become more fast-paced, I find a lot of joy in it. Sometimes patients are unhappy when I tell them their appointments need to be rescheduled because they have respiratory symptoms. It is important to be discerning with my choice of words so that they understand and can accept it.
