Nearly 2,000 seniors living in nursing homes can receive dental care at their doorstep over the next three years. The National Dental Centre's first-ever mobile clinic, which is supported by a sponsorship of more than S$2 million, aims to visit 10 nursing homes.

An ongoing study has found that more than one in three nursing home residents have no teeth left. The National Dental Centre said under-served communities need better access to oral care.
