DENTAL OFFICERS ADVANCED PRACTICE PROGRAMME (DO APP)

The aim of the NDCS Dental Officers Advanced Practice Programme (DO APP) is to provide them with training opportunities to improve their diagnostic and clinical skills in various specialties.Dental officers will manage a wide range of patients together with specialists at the Centre, taking part in case presentations and clinical management. Other aspects of training include hospital dentistry, management of dental emergencies, geriatric patients or patients with special needs. These ensure that every dental officer who has trained with us will have a well-rounded foundation that puts them in good stead for their professional development, whether they chose to pursue specialist training or not.

Workshops and lectures will be conducted for Dental Officers during their posting with NDCS, depending on their specialty.
