T-DOCS is advancing the use of digital technology to support community-based oral healthcare. The programme uses portable intraoral imaging and tele-dentistry to facilitate remote assessment by dental professionals.

As part of its next phase of development, T-DOCS is exploring AI-assisted image analysis to support image review, remote assessment and care planning. Once validated, this capability may help detect early signs of caries and periodontal disease, support clinical decision-making and provide visual guidance for nurses and caregivers.
